Knitted Together with Purpose 🤍

Psalm 139:13 (NIV)

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Before we ever took our first breath, before we could open our eyes or stretch our tiny hands, God was already at work — weaving us together with love, purpose, and care. Every heartbeat, every freckle, every strand of hair was crafted intentionally by Him.

As moms, it’s easy to look in the mirror and feel worn down by the long days and sleepless nights. We may question if we’re doing enough or if we’re even the person we were meant to be. (I know I do) But this verse reminds us that God has been deeply involved in our story from the very beginning. We were not accidents or afterthoughts — we were knitted together by the Creator Himself.

And just as He formed us, He’s forming our little ones, too. Every moment we spend nurturing, comforting, and guiding them is part of His beautiful design. Even on the days that feel messy and far from perfect, God’s fingerprints are all over our journey.

So today, take a breath and remember: you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and so is your child. You were both created with intention and wrapped in love from the start.

Simple Prayer:

“Lord, thank You for forming me with such care and purpose. When I doubt myself or feel worn down, remind me that I am Your handiwork — and so is my child. Help me to see Your beauty in every part of the journey. Amen.”
